Got in Bed to read by: 12:30pm
Turned out lights to sleep by: 12:55am
Guesstimate of when I fell asleep: 1:10am
Guesstimate of when I woke up: 5:05am
Had alarm set to: 8:45am
Got out of Bed at: 9:35am
Total Time I slept: 4 Hours and 15 Minutes
Last night I wasn’t overly tired but I hopped in bed and after a while got tired. Once the lights went out I fell asleep quickly. I decided to set my alarm a little later today, but now I realize I shouldn’t have.
I was up again around 5:00am but am not sure why. From then on I was in a daze and was having some wacky dreams. I ended up oversleeping and got out of bed around 9:35am. I need to stick to the earlier time, and might need to try to go to sleep by 12:30am if that is possible to help get more sleep?
I need to really get back to my relaxation breathing and thought strategies to help me block out thoughts and keep my brain at ease. Also, I should calculate out exactly 6 or 7 hours of sleep and get up at that time and see how I feel to see which is more optimal for my body.
